because he started reading books on emotional intelligence and other matters
of psychology.
The rabbit learned how to suppress his melancholy in favor of a more positive approach towards things. The other rabbits noticed. They saw the changes that came over our protagonist, and were quite shocked.
The rabbit gave each of the other rabbits a kiss on the cheek good morning that first day of his change of spirit.
It turned out that the rabbit was such a good kisser that every morning all the rabbits lined up at his hole for a good morning kiss on the cheek.
