bird was bored one day, just flying around.
The bird thought, "I could add some excitement in my life if I could find something to do." The bird then considered somehow helping bird-kind. Well, the bird had computer programming skills so the bird went to work developing some bird software that he believed would reduce the overall bird burden.
The bird eventually made software that would locate worms. It is called WormLocator 1.0. It does as its title suggests--it locates worms. You might wonder, how does it do this? Well, it has the computer it is running on tap into the national spy satellite system and directs a properly located satellite to beam a picture of a desired location to the computer. The software then analyzes the picture for worms and indicates where the worms are. It's amazing that the bird got the software to do this, isn't it? Some birds are so clever.
During development, WormLocator had a few bugs, one of which was that it indicated the location of bugs--not worms. However, the bird--since he was a bird--was good at finding bugs, and, furthermore, he was excellent with C++, so the problems got ironed out.
In deference to the environment, the bird made WormLocator out of mostly
recycled code.
Once the software was finished, the bird put his software on the Internet.
It was quite a success with birds. Soon shareware fees started pouring in.
The bird was stoked! After enough money came in, the bird shredded it and built
a giant nest out of it, and lived quite happily.
